Caroline Parker
A Grade 3 Teacher once told Caroline that she had the gift to gab.... and there are careers where people get paid to TALK!!
In 1987, the Edmonton native wanted to know how rich she could get by TALKING, so she moved to Calgary to get a degree in Journalism. She started her "gabbing" career in Television, anchoring news, weather and sports. Caroline worked at 2/7 TV Calgary, CKND Winnipeg, MITV Halifax and CBC Halifax. But it was in 1997, that she decided she didn't like wearing make-up and being recognized on the street, even when she was wearing her trade-mark baseball cap. So she decided to give Radio a try!
After a stint at CJOB Winnipeg, she met her husband John in 1999.... and then moved back to Halifax where she began working on Kool. Caroline also loves spending quality time with her sons, JJ and Max.
