haha you two crack me up - i am sitting here at work laughing my head off at the weiner story and your weight loss griff - haha you guys are great !!!!!

now that i have food allergies, we make our own, it is much btteer, and cheaper, and more nutritious.i use sheep feta, i thought it would be odd at first, but it''s really yummy, it''s an israeli sheep feta.it''s actually easy to make your own pizza, and our kids love helping, although it takes longer and makes more mess if they help.i use the pizza dough recipe in betty crocker, but use 1/2 whole wheat flour and 1/2 white flour. it only has to rise for 5 minutes, so you can whip up the dough in about 10 minutes. if you like thin crust pizza, it''s great. if you put olive oil on the pizza pans (stones are even btteer), and then sprinkle a little cornstarch on the oil, it tastes great and comes off without sticking.brandy i tried to make a polenta pie, it was horrible, i don''t recommend it. i''d try oat flour or a oat/rice flour mixture. oat flour makes nice cookies or thickening for gravy, and rice flour is good for some things that normally use a wheat flour. i haven''t tried an alternate flour for pizza, but oat would be the one i would try first, its taste and consistency is the most similar to wheat to me. (i try to rotate foods so i don''t become allergic to new ones, i''m allergic to enough already. however, i save up my wheat days for pizza.)

hi there. regarding your questions about roman soldiers. "trojans" were people from troy (remember the trojan horse and the helen of troy?). centurions were officers in charge of 100 soldiers (centurion - century - 100). roman soldiers were called "legionary" (some, like the calvary, were called "auxiliary") did that help?

we have a bit in common. i love food, especially home cooked, but if it''s not home cooked, pizza time is the way to go for sure. since i moved here from ontario, i could not find a pizza place that tastes as good as my favorite place in ottawa. when i came across pizza time 3 years ago, i have gone nowhere else. i mean, no where else !!!
